1. Definitions
"Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions. "Gradient Hall", "we", "us" or "our" refers to Gradient Hall, operating from 61 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. "User" or "you" refers to any individual who visits the website or enrols in a programme. "Programme" refers to any of the courses or seminars offered by Gradient Hall. "Content" includes session recordings, slide decks, templates, reading lists and other materials distributed as part of a programme.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or enrolling in a programme, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and accept these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not accept these terms, do not use the website or enrol in a programme.
3. Programme Descriptions
Gradient Hall offers three programmes: Data Handling for AI Projects (five weeks), Evening Seminar: Evaluating AI Systems (one evening), and the AI Systems Development Track (24 weeks). Descriptions, syllabuses, workload estimates and fees are published on the website. We aim to deliver what is described at the time of enrolment. Material changes to a cohort after enrolment has been confirmed will be communicated to enrolled participants in writing.
4. Enrolment
Enrolment is confirmed when we send written confirmation and payment has been received. The AI Systems Development Track requires a short technical conversation before enrolment can be confirmed. We reserve the right to decline enrolment where we do not consider the programme a suitable fit. All three programmes are delivered entirely online; there is no in-person component.
5. Payment Terms
Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) as stated on the website: RM 980 for the Data Handling course, RM 480 for the Evaluation Seminar, and RM 4,650 for the AI Systems Development Track. Payment is due in full before access to course materials is provided. Accepted payment methods are listed at the point of enrolment.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation more than 14 days before the programme start date: full refund, less any payment processing fees.
- Cancellation within 14 days of the start date: 50% refund.
- Cancellation after the programme has begun: no refund of the remaining balance.
- If Gradient Hall cancels a cohort, enrolled participants receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available cohort.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to attend or access sessions in a manner that does not disrupt other participants, to keep course materials for personal professional use only, not to share access credentials or session links with individuals who are not enrolled, and to treat other participants and instructors with respect. Behaviour that we consider disruptive or harmful to the cohort may result in removal from the programme without refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All course materials produced by Gradient Hall — including slide decks, templates and recordings — remain the intellectual property of Gradient Hall or the relevant rights holders. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own professional development. You may not reproduce, distribute or publish them without our written permission.
Work you produce during the programme — exercises, projects, your capstone repository — is yours. We do not claim rights to your work.
8. Disclaimers
Programmes are provided as described. We make no representation about the fitness of any programme for a particular purpose beyond what is stated in the syllabus. We make no claims about employment, salary, career outcomes or earnings of any kind. Completing a programme does not confer a professional licence, accredited qualification or employer-recognised credential.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Gradient Hall's liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the delivery of a programme is limited to the fee you paid for the relevant programme. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Gradient Hall against any claim, loss or damage arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of programme materials.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement with written notice. If you terminate after a programme has begun, no refund is due for completed sessions. If we terminate your enrolment due to conduct, the refund terms in Section 5 apply at our discretion. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If a dispute arises, we will first attempt to resolve it informally by email. If informal resolution fails within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For questions or concerns, write to [email protected].
13. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Gradient Hall regarding your use of the website and participation in programmes. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when they were last changed. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled participants by email. Continued use of the website after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance.
